7 Deadly Sins; Gluttony
7 Deadly Sins; Gluttony
Finally, after months of preparation, planning and spending, we managed to get the Gluttony shoot done. It’s definitely by far the most expensive and messiest shoot I’ve done so far, but I think it was worth it. We shot this in the studio, and bought tiles for the floor, and took a ‘sample’ of wallpaper to make it look a bit more homely. You can’t really tell, but she’s wearing contact lenses, to make it look like she’s ‘hypnotised’ by all the food.

It was fun eating all the cakes that Amy didn’t mash up, in the end, although right now, I feel so, so sick. Thanks to Amy Steel for modelling, and helping with ideas.

He was offering samples while I was trying to compose the shot. I told him not to worry. I’m a local, I said.

Samples are for locals too, he said smiling.

I’m not sure what I did wrong to cause this shot to come out so funky (double exposure, fogging, wrong speed, low ISO film?) but since I rather like the result I wanted to share it anyway. Perhaps I should have accepted the smoked salmon sample. Next time. 🙂
